BCom, FCPA, MBA, GAICD Shane is a results-driven C-suite executive with over 20 years experience in operations, finance, and change management. Specialising in building and leading high-performance teams, developing strategic analysis, and implementing solutions that improve team and financial performance, Shane's expertise lies in enhancing commercial partnerships and delivering impactful change that drives business success. Shane began his career in private practice accounting, golf club management, and banking, before joining the Adelaide Football Club where he progressed from Accountant, to Chief Financial Officer, and finally to Chief Operating Officer, in his 15 years tenure. Leveraging his expertise in high-performance leadership, finance, and operations across various sectors, Shane founded Strategix Advisory Group with the desire to offer professional, high-quality business strategies and advice to help startups and growing businesses achieve their goals. Career Highlights - Executive Lead of development and relocation of the Adelaide Football Club to a new $100m+ headquarters - Development of the revenue model with key external stakeholders for the relocation to a new $500m+ Stadium (Adelaide Oval) - Financial leadership through Covid-19, returning the business to profitability and debt free 2 years ahead of schedule – Member of the Bid team for the successful acquisition of AFLW, SANFL and ABLW team licences - Led the acquisition, operation and profitable sale of the Adelaide Giants Australian Professional Baseball Team - Negotiation and development of International commercial partnerships with: - Major League Baseball (MLB) China - Japanese University Ivy League Baseball - Philadelphia Phillies (MLB team) - Lotte Giants (KBO team) Korea - Wei Chuan Dragons (CPBL team) Taiwan - Member of the Project management committee on the clubhouse and West Course redevelopment at The Grange Golf Club.
